Hi, my name is Kelly, and I am a certified Holistic Life Coach & Mind-Body Practitioner and a member of the Complimentary Medical Association. My journey to helping others really begun at the age of 18 when I started to experience physical symptoms that became chronic, primarily debilitating digestive issues. In the many years that followed, I began desperately searching for the answer, the cure or for whatever was going to ‘fix’ me. Unfortunately I did not find any relief through the conventional medical system (other than gaining a bunch of diagnoses) so I had no other option than to look for alternative guidance. The quest to feel better led me to see a whole variety of helping modalities, including nutritionists, naturopaths and energy healers. I was quite literally trying anything and everything in an attempt to 'fix' myself, not to mention taking countless different supplements every day, doing all sorts of ‘cleanses’ and protocols. Nothing helped, and now I could see that this whole experience was taking its toll on my mental health – I thought I was never going to get better. Intuitively, I always knew that there was a missing piece to the puzzle. I knew my symptoms didn’t just randomly occur for no reason. I didn’t understand why no-one was looking at the whole picture, not just the physical but the mental, emotional and spiritual parts that make up each and every one of us. I knew that there had to be a link between the state of my physical health and my mental health, primarily a lifetime of anxiety, repressed emotions, unprocessed trauma and chronic stress.

As nothing seemed to be working, I started to take matters into my own hands. I started to search the internet for success stories of people healing from chronic health issues. I started reading book after book about the mind-body connection. I started to delve deep into the works of incredible, inspirational pioneers such as Dr Joe Dispenza and Dr Gabor Maté. I started to work with a coach and I enrolled in a brain retraining and nervous system regulation course. Above everything else, I started to understand what was really going on with me and at long last, I had real hope – everything made sense. I had been living in a chronic state of stress, or ‘fight/flight’ for a very long time, even years before the symptoms started to make themselves known. I now deeply understood how this chronically stressed state and unprocessed trauma, coupled with a series of distressing experiences that happened in quick succession, ultimately created the ‘perfect storm’ for my body to start screaming for my attention, in the form of symptoms. I had now found my ‘root cause’ that I had been so desperately looking for, but that didn’t mean a ‘quick fix.’

This is where the work really began. It became evident to me as I embarked on my journey from surviving to thriving, that it was really a journey to myself, my true authentic self. I didn’t need to ‘fix’ myself, I was never truly broken. I always knew that there was a deeper meaning behind the decade long struggle with my health, and as things started to click for me I knew I wanted to help others with their own wellbeing. I knew I needed to share the information I had learnt, the knowledge I had accumulated from my first-hand experience and share it with those who need it. I wish I would have found someone like me over 10 years ago! I help guide overwhelmed, stressed out, unaligned individuals who feel stuck in their lives to embark on their journey to their best self, the person they wish and deserve to be! I can help you go from an endless cycle of simply surviving to totally thriving, whilst reaping the benefits of greater health, happiness and life satisfaction – regardless if you are struggling with physical symptoms or not.
